Free worship video loops

YouTube is the biggest source of free worship loops:
YouTube Free Worship Loops

To get the video loop locally on your PC:

1. Use the free YouTube download services:
4K Video Downloader (this is what I use, the free version)
y2mate
or search Google for "YouTube download" for other alternatives.

2. Import the downloaded video into your VideoPsalm video gallery
See here how to do that:
http://videopsalm.weebly.com/blog/comment-importer-des-images-dans-la-galerie-de-videopsalm

(article available in French only).
Please use the free Google Translate service to read it in English.

3. Assign the video to your song, so that the video plays automatically when you display the song lyrics.
This article describes this task in details:
http://myvideopsalm.weebly.com/blog/select-an-image-or-a-video

Since version 1.26, all video formats are supported

Since version 1.26, VideoPsalm can display most if not all video formats.

For VideoPsalm 1.23 or earlier: If you experience difficulties to display WMV videos, try the following:
  • On Windows XP or Vista, install the latest DirectX version or the Microsoft C++ redistributable.
    DirectX 9.0c download by Microsoft
  • On Windows Seven or Windows 8, displaying WMV will/should work out of the box.

If you experience difficulties to display MP4 or other video file formats, try the following:
  • Install a video codec pack.

The K-Lite codec pack can be downloaded here and enables to play most video formats, notably MP4.
Be careful while installing additional codecs, as codec packs found on the internet may try to install additional software that are hard to get rid of.

Hi Rob,

You will find around 130 images background images at the following address (Images.zip file) :
http://goo.gl/cO4Ivm

Open the zip file and paste the images into the VideoPsalm Images folder, normaly located here:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\VideoPsalm\Images

Whenever I use video loops as backgrounds, they work great, BUT is there a way to adjust how much of it shows on screen (sort of like how you can adjust the bounding box for the text). The way we have our projector set up, we have to adjust the text bounding box to get it to fill the screen but not flow over. This works fine, but any image or video I add to a schedule or background flows over the screen edges or is squashed down too small and wont fill the screen. Any help?

Hi Dave,
It is possible to adjust the presentation screen size in the VideoPsalm options: Top toolbar -> "Edit"-tab -> "Tools"-group -> "Options"-button -> "Presentation screen"-tab -> Deselect the "Automatically detect the presentation screen resolution"-checkbox and adjust the margins.

Hi Jose,

Thank you for your warm words. I greatly appreciate it.

Please let me know if the following article describes well enough how to assign a soundtrack to a song and play it while displaying the lyrics:
https://myvideopsalm.weebly.com/blog/how-to-assign-an-audio-mp3-to-a-song

We are humbled by your donation wish, however VideoPsalm is unable to receive any form of payment.
Is this OK for you?

Hi Baffour,

To display a wide range of video formats (MP4, AVI, MOV, WMV, etc.), a codec pack is required.
I recommend the "basic" K-Lite codec pack, downloadable for free here:

Is there any keyboard shortcut for the bridge in a song?

Reply
VideoPsalm link
12/1/2018 01:26:07 pm

Hi Halliday,

Alas, the "B" shortcut collides with the "Switch-off screen" shortcut, which is rather unfortunate...
Hopefully this will be corrected in a future version.

At the moment, to circumvent the problem, it is required to edit the "en-US.json" file, usually located here:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\VideoPsalm\Localization

1. Open this file in a NotePad, or NotePad++.
Don't open it in MS-Word, as this will destroy the file when you save it.

2. Find the following text occurrence in the file:
Key:1005823,Text:"B"},{

3. Change the "B" shortcut to another letter that works better for you, for example "K".

4. Save the file.

5. Start VideoPsalm.

Hello! I just discovered VideoPsalm and it's really really great and I'm very thankful for the people behind this application (and those who continue to improve it) :)

Anyway, I did the solution you gave above for the bridge shortcut key and it worked. I believe I can also do that for the pre-chorus? May I know what is the pre-chorus' text occurence in the file?

Thank you. Kudos!

This app is so awesome...!!! It ease our job in church very much.

Is there any plan to port this great app to Linux platform? Many small churches in my counties use Linux because they can't buy Windows license.

Thanks.

Hi Wignyo,

There is alas no project at the moment to port VideoPsalm on Linux in the near future, as this would imply a lot of programming work.

Hi Jesús,

Thank you for requesting a "transparent logo" feature.
This feature is in the list of things to do, and your request adds weight to it.
However, I don't know when it will be implemented.

At the moment, it is required to edit the images and videos and add the logo manually.

See also three methods to display a background/logo between two songs

Could you please send me your logo image at my gmail account, to make sure that I understand your suggestion properly? Thanks in advance!

Hi Peace,

To add your downloaded images and videos to the VideoPsalm galleries, paste the corresponding files to their folder, usually:

Images: C:\Users\Public\Documents\VideoPsalm\Images
Videos: C:\Users\Public\Documents\VideoPsalm\Videos

VideoPsalm will immediately reflect the changes in these folders.

Ho appena scoperto videopsalm: Fantastico!

I love this - have a couple quesitons:
1. how can I organize my images so that I have folders on the background area with the invidual images in it - i.e. I want to have under
C:\Users\Public\Documents\VideoPsalm\Images
a folder say "Cross" and have all my cross pictures in there and be able to get to it from the dashboard.
2. How can I import SundayPlus songs into VideoPsalm

Hi Shiroe,

Thank you for your suggestion.
Since version 1.23, each new version adds a few backgrounds in your document folder.
Is this what you are asking for? (I am not sure if I understand you properly).

Hi Joel,

Thank you for your feedback.
I am aware of the problem, and still looking for a working solution, hopefully for version 1.27.
At the moment, for videos that produce a black flash when looping, it is required to cut-off the last 1/2 second of the video by using the video range located under the video progress bar.

I've used videopsalm for a couple of years. Recently, though, my background loops flash a bit of a black screen as they loop to the beginning again. I don't remember having this problem before. Not sure if it's the recent update to 1.26 or if it's a new computer. Anyway to diagnose/fix this? My spanish is rusty (nearly 40 years since I took it in high school, lol) but I'm thinking Joel above had the same problem....?

Hi Zilber,

Starting with VideoPsalm 1.27, you are more easily able to switch cameras.

For earlier versions, if you have multiple cameras via VideoPsalm, I recommend downloading ManyCam.
Start Manycam first before you run VideoPsalm.
Then select Manycam from the camera dropdown in VideoPsalm.
By using Manycam you can switch up to 24 different cameras.

Alas GIFs are not supported as still backgrounds.
To display GIFs, convert them in MP4 video files and assign them as a background video.

First off thank you for your hard work we use this weekly. We wanted to attempt to start using video backgrounds. For some reason my background only has motion when advancing between sections of my song. Am I missing a setting somewhere?
